You may ask what are ‘urban’ wildflowers are exactly? They are wildflowers that I have found growing within the city limits or other urban areas, rather than in parks or wilderness areas. Tucson is a sprawling city and so it’s not as difficult as you might think to find wildflowers growing here and there all over the place. A couple of years ago I decided to start capturing images of them intending to put together the collection for others to enjoy. Below is a selection of what I have captured so far.
